FreHD Carrier Board for TRS-80 Model 4P

Tired of always having to completely unplug your FreHD from your TRS-80 Model 4P before moving it? Now you don't! Mount your FreHD to this carrier board, plug in the supplied power cable, slid it into the modem slot and connect to your 50 pin connector! Now when you go, it goes. No need for additional power, it will use the power that is supplied to the modem slot

Connector Options :

NONE - Just the bare board + mounting hardware

BERG - This is normally called a 4 pin floppy power connector. That will be soldered and siliconed to the board and include mounting hardware

DUPONT - We will assume unless told otherwise you want it connected to +5V. If you want +12V or -12V, please let us know. They will be soldered and siliconed to the board and include mounting hardware

MOLEX - This is the same connector as a floppy drive. While we have never seen that on a FreHD, I thought people might have another use, EG for extending power to a 3rd external Floppy Drive when used with a Floppy Remapper. It will be soldered and siliconed to the board and include mounting hardware.

50 PIN CABLE (H2CE)- This cable is specifically constructed in orientation and length to fit properly from a FreHD in the carrier to the 50 pin motherboard card edge. connector. This is a cable only, does not include carrier and connector

50 PIN CABLE(H2H) - This will require soldering headers on your 4P's motherboard near the card edge connector (included). This is a cable only, does not include carrier and connector

(May interfere with other addon boards. (Graphics, memory, Floppy Remapper.) Please ask before ordering)

(Not compatible with Model 4P's with an installed modem or other card in the modem slot. Modem slots connector must be present and working properly)
