If you are looking for a better output on your Color Computer 1, Color Computer 2 or MC-10, this is the product you'll want.
To enable RGB output on the above mentioned systems, you must first desolder the MC6847 Video Display Generator (VDG) from the motherboard. For optimal stability and clearance, it is recommended to solder the main interface board directly to the motherboard's vacant VDG footprint. You can then insert the original or a replacement MC6847 VDG into the socket on top of the interface board.
The module features an onboard jumper option to pull power directly from the host computer to the RGBtoHDMI adapter. Each kit includes a 2-foot, 6-pin cable to interface the board directly with the analog input connector on your RGBtoHDMI unit.
NOTE:
For the NTSC Color Computers you must also remove a capacitor (normally 150pf) on the Y output of the 6847 as it degrades the video signal and will result in a poor quality noisy image.

It is also recommended that you power the Pi zero externally for better noise immunity but if you are having issues, try both ways. Also powering externally results in instant video after the CoCo is power cycled.
