This board replaces the functionality of the SC77526P DAC chip found in the Tandy CoCo's. The DAC chip is one of the custom linear integrated circuits used in the Color Computer 2 and 3. As its name implies, it contains a Digital to Analog Converter. This chip also contains a sound multiplexer and the circuitry necessary to interface the joystick controllers to the microprocessor.
Styles -
Bare Board - Just a board, BOM and instructions
SMT Populated - Everything populated except the header pins (Supplied)
SMT Populated (Joystick Warning) - This is the first batch produced. They were verified with Rocky due to 2 chip replacements necessary and his comments were only - "In the meantime you can sell this chip for those that really need a replacement for the DAQ with a disclaimer that it's mostly compatible with only minor differences in how the joystick is read."
